  • Number of Tickets Left - Does it work really ?

I recently had a trip to Dallas , i had my tickets booked some 5 weeks before my travel date , while i was booking my tickets and selecting my airline almost all the airlines were showing 1 ticket left , 2 tickets left. I Selected american airline , and it was showing 2 tickets left . I booked my ticket thru american , even return showed 2 tickets left. And while i was travelling - this is what i noticed , flight is really Empty. So many seats are vacant. This is not the first time i noticed i believe should have noticed many times. Does EXPEDIA really give correct information on number... More...

  • Expedia would not honor red cross offer

Our party of 6 experienced the Ft Lauderdale shooting evacuation. We did not have anything, except I had my purse and the 4 men in the group had their wallets. After we arrived at the Port Everglade, hours after the evacuation, we were told that the Red Cross made some rooms available. We were directed to the Expedia site where there was a green button that said something like "Red Cross waiver". We pressed it and the dates for the reservation were automatically entered, we could not change them. We selected a hotel and clicked on it, the first one that popped up. The green... More...

  • Attempting to book a cruise.

I have been trying to book a cruise online for 2 adults and 3 children. We wanted two adjoining rooms. This is IMPOSSIBLE to do. There is no way to guarantee that you end up next to your CHILDREN. Come on people this doesn't seem so difficult. My husband works for a company that could whip your website in to shape in no time. If you try to book it with a customer service rep over the phone the price is much more expensive. The rep told me the prices online were cheaper. She also helped me find available rooms to book but I was unable to do so online. I am beyond frustrated. I would... More...

  • Expedia took forever to resolve double charge

We just stayed in an Omni Hotel in Dallas, TX and got a great deal through Expedia. The problem came when we were checking out and the hotel said we hadn't paid. We didn't have our Expedia receipt so dutifully paid. When we arrived home last night, we found our receipt and this morning I called Expedia about the double charge. The man I talked to kept me on hold a total of thirty minutes. He kept calling the hotel and saying he would refund "the $14" difference. I kept explaining that the refund amount was at least $100, and he would put me on hold again. Finally,... More...

  • Springhill Suites, 2087 Interchange Way, Erie, PA

Our stay could've been better than the one that we've experienced. Last weekend, I was with my family and stayed at the Springhill for 3 nights. Due to our lost voices, we wanted to get some hot water to make ourselves some tea. Going there, I realized there was no hot water so I informed "Tyler Barone." Tyler didn't seem to care and told me it will be there shortly. When asked how long it would take, Tyler said 2 minutes however we waited 10 minutes and went back again to the front desk as it was not prepared yet (hot water). We had asked him once more and this... More...

  • airport Inn Parking Vandalia OH

I parked at this place and would not recommend them for parking. The place was unclean and unkept. I was asked to park under a tree with a dead limb hanging down. I asked to move but she said it would be ok. When I got back from the trip the limb was hanging down on my roof and side of the car. I would certainly not recommend this place-it's very old and the situation could have been a lot worse. Would give it a one out of five. I sure wouldn't want to stay in the motel. I suggest you check it out for yourself. Thank you Annette Stewart More...

  • Expedia Ripoff

Expedia clearly states that it has no booking fees on it's own webpage: http://support.expedia.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1652/~/does-expedia-charge-any-booking-fees%3F Despite this, they just charged me $13. on my credit card as a "purchase fee". My trip was all on the same airline both ways. There was no disclosure of this purchase fee. A booking fee by any other name is still a booking fee! Shame on them. I complained without any resolution. More...

  • Expedia Cruises Misrepresenting Cabin Class

Cruise vacations are one of the fastest growing and fulfilling way to travel today. There itineraries and cabin classes to fit every budget. One of the nicest options for adults is to upgrade to "Spa Cabin" class, which places your cabin within close proximity of the quieter, adults only area if the ship, and may also provide specil access to spa facilities and services on board the vessel. I recently booked and placed a $400 deposit on a Carnival Cruise to the Eastern Caribbean. This non-refundable, specially-offered price was a premium-priced upgrade over the base, inside... More...
