    Kristine at The Baron Travel Corporation, or graylinephilippines.com.ph did an excellent job of helping to get a loved one to and from the airport in Manilla. She needed to get back and forth, as well as get her parents to the airport, to and from a condo. I really appreciate their taking care of this and work ing with us on the reservations.   • Expedia made it much easier on us.



    We booked a flight out to Lancaster PA from O'Hare with Expedia. We missed our flight by 3 minutes due to security issues. My husband had three appointments that he was supposed to make, but this setback costed us a whole day! We called Expedia and explained the situation and right away they resolved it by booking us the next flight out for the next day.     Stayed on a Friday night in Late June. Upstairs room was spacious & well-appointed. View out our window to beautifully landscaped gardens/lawn leading down to a brook. Kept our window open all night listening to the brook-very relaxing! Proprietress baked breads & delicious muffins served as Continental Breakfast the next morning.     I like to think as Sanibel Island as my second home. Having said that, our experience at the Tortuga Beach Club encapsulates all that we love about this island paradise. The grounds and units are spotless, staff friendly and the units all short steps away from the pool & beach. If you forgot the beach essentials (buckets, shovels etc) there is a community box (near the pool rec room) to share for the day.     I'm reserved 2 nights at a hotel in San Francisco however just hours before we left we had a serious family emergency, that kept us from going. At first we hoping to just check in later but as the day moved forward we found there was no way we could make the trip. As I booked in advance it showed that I cod not receive a refund.     My wife and I live in California%u2019s central valley and Santa Barbara is our favorite retreat. We stayed at the Lemon Tree Inn in Santa Barbara for 8 days, and greatly enjoyed our time there. The hotel is located on upper State Street in a very nice neighborhood, away from the usual touristy areas, but near enough to give access to all the great attractions of Santa Barbara.     I made a mistake in booking my hotel on line. I made the reservation for Columbia SC. But, what I really wanted was Columbia, MO. I did not realize the mistake until I was checking in at the hotel located in Columbia, MO. The hotel could not refund me because I booked through Expedia. When I called Expedia the next day to request a refund for the hotel room that I did not stay in located in Columbia, S.C., I was told by a Customer Service Agent of Expedia that they could not refund me the one night.     Airline made a mistake and ended up charging $275 for a flight segment that had already been paid for through Expedia (long story - there were actually 3 airlines involved!) Expedia customer rep spent about 1.5 hr on the phone with Alaska, American and US Airways before obtaining a refund for me.     Gotta say I was very worried after 2 hours waiting in vain for a rep on the phone (during hurricane Irene) and reading all the bad reviews here. But on the day after the hurricane and a mere 30 minute wait I had the friendliest rep named Kurt who handled my cancelations and refunds exceptionally. It took nearly 1.5 hours holding while he called the airlines involved but he never lost me or failed to do what I wanted.     I just wanted to say that I recently booked a short getaway with Expedia. We were not able to get to go on this trip due to a mechanical complication with the flight, then a snowstorm cancelled our next outgoing flight. Expedia was very courteous and professional each time I called to let them know what was going on. They even called the hotel for me to say that we would not be in until the next day due to all the delays and cancellations with the flights.     This little hotel is a gem in the heart of San Francisco's theatre district, close to several excellent restaurants and across the street from the historic St. Francis Hotel. Rooms are cozy and attractive - only about ten on each of six floors; staff is efficient, bright, fun and helpful. A rather glorified, delicious Continental breakfast is served on every other floor each morning, and a delightful wine and cheese repast is enjoyed every late afternoon.   • Expedia.com customer service they are the best



    I too had not to great an experience with Travelocity customer service. So, I tried Expedia. I have used them for at least 5 trips now and have been VERY satisfied. I like the fact you can use the .NET passport (yes... some companies are still doing that) so I don't have to maintain yet another user/pwd combo. And the couple of times I have needed changes, customer service has been excellent! Hope they work out as well for you - highly recommended. More...
