Swimming with the Dolphins Excursion


My husband and I booked a swimming with the dolphins tour while we were on our honey moon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on March 18, 2015 with Wendy from Expedia (we were staying at the Majestic Colonial resort). Our receipt says that our Excursion Date was March 20, 2015 at 14:50. Wendy told us that our excursion time was at 14:50 which was on our receipt but our tickets say 1:55. We did not think to look at the tickets because she said that our tour was at 14:50 and so did our receipt. We missed the tour and she blamed it on us saying that it was our fault that we missed the tour. We could not re-schedule the tour because we were leaving the following morning. On March 21st, Wendy told us that we would be getting a refund ($230) but that we would not get it until a week later which would be March 28th. It is now March 30th and we have not gotten our refund. I tried to call the number she gave us to call if we did not received our refund and the number has been disconnected. We experienced HORRIBLE customer service. We missed the swimming with the dolphins tour, we are out $230, and instead of apologizing, Wendy continued to say that it was our fault that we missed the tour.
