Expedia hotel refund


I'm reserved 2 nights at a hotel in San Francisco however just hours before we left we had a serious family emergency, that kept us from going. At first we hoping to just check in later but as the day moved forward we found there was no way we could make the trip. As I booked in advance it showed that I cod not receive a refund. I was extremely stressed about wasting that whole weekend. I didn't care if I got a full refund I was just hoping to reschedule my weekend for another. My husband called Expedia and they were so helpful. Their customer service department worked with the hotel to get us a full refund! No questions asked! What a relief! I will definitely use Expedia again as well as book the hotel again.
